Welcome to the Converting Curmudgeon
Killjoy, wet blanket, party pooper: All possible synonyms for curmudgeon—somebody who looks at the downside, the negative aspects, the pessimistic angle. While the title of my new blog may be “The Converting Curmudgeon,” I really don’t plan on dwelling on the negatives for our industry.
I do, however, plan on offering a regular “reality check” into the true value of all that impacts your business—be it printed packaging or unprinted rolls and sheets. Sometimes that might mean pointing out the downside of the latest trend or sending up a signal flare about the newest corporate tactic or raising a red flag over some new machinery/material concept.
On the flip side, I also hope to bring you a look at many of the positive aspects of the converting industry—truly successful ideas, business organizations, products and markets—and a little fun every once in a while.
If you want to send me a comment or suggestions for future blogs, click on that link below that reads Comments, and you can send me a reply. Thanks.

Mark: Good luck and thanks for updating your photo. It's nice to see you stopped using your High School graduation photo for the headshot.
