Staff -- Converting Magazine, 5/1/2001
Eric Anderson, president of Anderson Intl. Trading, wins the 2001 Presidential Award given yearly to an outstanding member of the Intl. Assn. of Diecutting & Diemaking. IADD president Ken Holliday presented the award March 31 during the group's midyear leadership conference in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.
"Eric has served on numerous committees of the IADD, the Board of Directors and will raise his hand to assist in anything that is worth the challenge," says Holliday.
Anderson took over as president of his family-owned business in 1994. The company was started in 1976, selling different flat and curved plywoods to the steel-rule diemaking industry and diversified wood products to the furniture and musical-instrument industries in many parts of the world. Anderson is presently heading a special task force for the IADD Safety Committee.
