Label Store UK to expand capacity, adds key staff

The Label Store UK (www.labelstore.co.uk) of Beverley, East Yorkshire, acquires a new 19,000-sq-ft facility to expand its label-production capacity by one-third, and appoints two key staff members to serve the bar-code printing and auto-ID markets. Further projects are in the pipeline, and this first phase is set for completion by 2009.

Trevor Christie joins The Label Store UK as business manager with more than 10 years of industry experience. Steve Parsons is named senior technical manager in the company’s hardware, software and service department. He has over 20 years of technical experience, working with auto-ID equipment, printers, and weighing systems.

Specialising in supplying plain and printed labels, bar-code equipment and world-class consultancy, The Label Store UK serves the retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, electronics & logistics markets. Its customers include Boots, Harrods, TK Maxx, Panasonic, Tesco, TRW and Marks and Spencer.
