Leeson earns Converter of the Year

Industry veteran Alan Leeson is selected as the 2001 CMM Converter of the Year. Leeson is founder and president of Hayward, Calif.-based Spectrum Label Corp., a 65,000-sq-ft printing facility with $15 million in sales. Leeson receives the award during a presentation at CMM International, April 24.
The award, which is biennially presented to a converter, supplier, educator or consultant, is awarded to Leeson for his years of excellence and achievement in the package-printing industry. His company has won many awards including the FTA Distinguished Achievement Award in 1998 and the TLMI Best-Managed Company Award in 1997.
Spectrum Label specializes in health and beauty labels and pouches, pharmaceuticals labeling, wine labeling, spiral labeling, food packaging pouches, flexible packaging and shrink-film packaging.
