The new TEC-2 winder features center winding technology and a unique winding arrangement that eliminates the traditional turret seen in center winders. An integrated shaft extraction and roll-handling unit is said to reduce operator lifting. The TEC-2 is capable of winding 300 ft./min. and produces finished rolls up to 30 in. in dia., which includes automatic bi-directional cut and transfer and an AC flux vector-drive system.
