Great Northern acquires MN's Creative Carton

Appleton, WI-based paperboard converter Great Northern Corp. (www.greatnortherncorp.com) acquires the assets of Creative Carton (www.creativecarton.com) on March 7. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re very pleased to add the resources and capabilities of Creative Carton to support our regional commercial packaging efforts and further expand our national consumer packaging and display presence,” says John Davis, president of Great Northern’s Packaging Group.

Creative Carton employs 170 people in two locations in Brooklyn Park, MN. Since its founding in 1976, Creative Carton has steadily grown through the design and manufacturing of corrugated boxes, POP displays and specialty packaging. The company has a full complement of converting equipment.
