First Converters Expo a hit
Mark Spaulding, Editor in Chief -- Converting Magazine, 2/1/2008

Baby, it was cold outside, but that didn't stop the inaugural Converters Expo 2008 from being “a grand success.”
Organized by the regional association Converting Influence (www.convert inginfluence.com), the event, held at the Lambeau Stadium Atrium in Green Bay, WI, drew almost 60 converting and allied businesses along with more than 300 attendees. Products displayed ranged from all manner of machinery and components to converting operations (mainly tissue and towel) to a variety of contract-converting and contract-packaging services.
Green Bay's American FlexPack (top) kicked off the program with a breakfast-festooned skybox overlooking Lambeau Field. The converter provides everything from package design to printing, pouchmaking and contract packaging for towelettes, liquids and gels.
