Model 5300 is the co.'s new label printer/applicator, which it says combines modular design with high speed, high-quality label printing, application and optional RFID encoding. Reportedly providing a variety of pressure-sensitive application methods including air-blow, tamp-blow, corner-wrap and two-label/adjacent panel labeling, the 5300 also is said to feature a repositionable operator interface and the capability to incorporate a user-specific PLC and remote monitor via a Web browser. Standard print engines produce images at 203- or 300-dpi, with labels dispensed at rates to 16 in./sec.

The case packer guarantees case erection and positive handling and uses advanced technology, which involves servo motors for the main machine movements and the pneumatic system used only for the secondary movements.
