Rockwell rocks McCormick Place
-- Converting Magazine, 12/1/2007
More than 13,000 attendees from 65 nations trekked to Chicago's McCormick Place Nov. 14 and 15 for Rockwell Automation's (www.rockwellautomation.com) annual Automation Fair. The event boasted over 100 exhibits, 85 technical sessions, hands-on training labs and presentations throughout the day on automation trends and equipment. For industry-specific solutions, Rockwell also provided 10 industry tours—both self-guided and tours led by industry experts from fields ranging from food and beverage, household and personal-care to global machine builders and OEMs, among many others.
“Each year at the Automation Fair event, we have the opportunity to bring together customers and manufacturing professionals from around the globe,” said Keith Nosbusch, Rockwell Automation chairman and chief executive officer. “This premier industry event is an environment where manufacturers can bring their problems and walk away with solutions that will help them be more competitive in their businesses.”—Jorina Fontelera
