RadTech-The Association for Ultraviolet (UV) and Electron Beam (EB) Curing Technology (www.radtech.org) renames its biennial trade show and conference. The event, now called “RadTech UV&EB Technology Expo & Conference,” will be held May 4-7, 2008, at the Lakeside Ctr. of the McCormick Place Complex in Chicago.
The show committee and RadTech Board of Directors decided to make this change to reinforce that this event will directly showcase and educate about UV & EB curing technology. It will include sessions on the latest advancements in industrial applications, radiation-cured inks, coatings and adhesives for package printing, sustainability driven by UV & EB technology, “green chemistry” and nanotechnology. Leading industrial and consumer product companies, as well as suppliers to the UV and EB industry, will be presenting various sessions focused on presenting the benefits of UV and EB technology as well as practical applications of the technology.
More than 125 exhibitors will fill the RadTech UV/EB 2008 show floor, representing end markets from adhesives, automotive OEM & Tier One manufacturing, and commercial printing to converting, packaging, electronics and graphic arts. Exhibit space is more than 50 percent sold, RadTech says.
