Mark Andy Europe hosts first Educator Seminar

Staff -- Converting Magazine, 7/1/2007

Just three months after the opening of its new Advanced Technology Center in Basel-Reinach, Switzerland, pressmaker Mark Andy Europe hosted a three-day Open House and the first of its European series of Educator Seminars titled, “Film and Foil Printing—Market of the Future.” The tri-lingual event attracted more than 200 attendees from 15 countries. The state-of-the-art technology center gave Mark Andy the opportunity to showcase its range of flexo-converting equipment, all configured for the many levels of film and foil printing. Presses demonstrated: the servo-driven Mark Andy XP5000, the best-selling 2200 and the high-speed Comco ProGlide MSP. Mark Andy also featured its VSR300 integrated rewinder/finishing unit, fitted with an AVT PrintVision/Helios automatic defect-detection system.
