FFTA's Info*Flex flexo show readies for Montreal in May

Editor: Mark Spaulding -- Converting Magazine, 3/1/2007

With less than 60 days until its opening, the 2007 Info*Flex trade show (www.flexography.org/IF07.cfm) is more than 90% sold out, says organizer The Foundation of the Flexographic Technical Association (www.flexography.org). The event, dedicated solely to the flexographic printing process, takes place May 7-8 at the Palais des Congrès in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. More than 150 companies, occupying almost 20,000 sq ft, will be on hand to showcase their most recent innovations to the expected international audience of 1,600-plus attendees.

“As always, Info*Flex will be the hub of new product announcements, as well as targeted introductions of new technologies,” says Jay Kaible, FTA 14 12 director of business development. “Forum attendees are excited about coming to Montreal, FTA management anticipates a large, international audience, and exhibitors have their sights set on reaching a new set of contacts.”

Along with Info*Flex, the FFTA 2007 Annual Forum, themed “Crossing Borders…Flexo's Global Gateway,” scheduled for May 6-9 at the same site, will present multiple awards and honors, including FTA's 2007 Excellence in Flexography Awards, Graphic Design Awards, Technical Innovation Award, FLEXO Author's Awards, the 45th FTA Hall of Fame Inductee, Environmental Excellence Awards, and FTA President's Awards.
