Jogger aerator
Compact design needs no pit
The new M Series of mobile jogger aerators and pile turners (manufactured in Italy and exclusively distributed by co.) are said to improve the quality of printed sheets by overcoming problems associated with long-term storage of paper stacks. With a compact design that requires no pit to operate, the M Series Argo handles sheets up to 28 x 40 in. and loads up to 2,200 lbs. The M Series Aries holds sheets up to 54 x 62 in. and loads up to 3,975 lbs. One-person operation reduces injuries from repetitive lifting.

Ionomer resin
Boosts permeability for food packs
DuPont™ Selar VP Technology, an ionomer chemistry-based resin, is said to give food-packaging applications safer, fresher and more varied choices that boost consumer convenience and flexibility. It accommodates various desired properties requiring high and selective gas permeability to oxygen or water vapor, particularly for fresh-cut produce as well as fresh fish. Selar VP can be processed on conventional film converting and end-use equipment. The first grades have high OTR rates that when converted into film are well-suited for applications that need strong forming characteristics, tight cling to product, good machinability, and ease of cutting. Co. is developing Selar VP grades with high permeability to other gases such as water vapor.
