Hamilton, OH-based Innovative Labeling Solutions (ILS) purchases its second HP Indigo ws4050 digital press (www.hp.com) along with an upgrade package that includes HP's new fast-ink replacement feature. The new press, bought at Labelexpo Americas 2006, will help ILS gain greater efficiency and productivity in its mainstream flexo-printed label production, the company says. “Since we purchased our first HP Indigo ws4050 in January, we've won a lot of new business producing sales samples and other short-run products such as nutraceutical labels,” says ILS president Jay Dollries. “The new press will also be used to meet a groundswell in small-order quantity and multiple-SKU work from existing flexo customers.”

As a packaging converter for high-end clients in the publishing, tool, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries, Rice Packaging needed a reliable press to manage its growing needs.
