More than 200 coating/laminating industry professionals from over 25 countries took part in the recent Polyshow 2006 event sponsored by Polytype Converting AG at its headquarters in Fribourg, Switzerland. Attendees were introduced to a wide range of simultaneous, multilayer curtain-coating applications via technical presentations and demonstrations of Polytype's newest equipment (left). Participants were shown four stations ready for delivery and two converting lines in final-assembly stage. In addition, the Polytype Technology Center was highlighted with single-layer curtain coating of adhesive for clear-on-clear label materials.
