With nearly 80 percent of available display space sold, the new Flexible Packaging Pavilion in Hall 1 at the UK's commercial printing fair IPEX 2006 will feature 56 companies exhibiting products and services related to flexible-packaging printing and converting.

Organizers say the pavilion has the potential to grow to 21,500 sq ft by the time the show opens for its run April 4–11 at the National Exhibition Ctr. in Birmingham, UK. Key participants include Cerutti Group, Comexi Group, DCM Group, BHS, Soma Engineering, CMR, Polywest Sleeve Systems, Kampf, AVT, J.M. Heaford and AV Flexologic. The Flexible Packaging Center of Excellence Theatre in Hall 1 will also play host to IST, Lüscher Flexo, Drent Goebel, Creo, Alphasonics, Agfa and GEW.

All told, more than 800 companies will exhibit at IPEX 2006.
