The Vega 610 pouchmaking system produces pre-form pouches from unsupported, coextruded films with the same ease as from laminates, co. says. Co. offers the Expander Roll, a web-handling roller that uses stretchable, elastic cords on the roll face to remove web wrinkles. As the roll turns with the traveling web, specially engineered cams stretch the surface cords in contact with the web, pulling from the center of the web to the outer edges to eliminate costly wrinkles.
