The Great Lakes Flexo Association (GLFA) will make donations of $2,000 each to Fox Valley Technical College (Appleton, WI) and Ditrolio Flexo School (Broadview, IL) at its July 21 meeting at the Paper Converting Machine Co. demonstration center in Green Bay, WI. Both academic institutions have supported the GLFA since its inception three years ago.

Vandalia, OH-based Esko-Graphics donates prepress hardware and software to the Flexographic Trade School (FTS), Ft. Mill, SC. The donation includes a DuPont Cyrel® Digital Imager (CDI) Spark XT and supporting Scope workflow with DeskPack, BackStage, FlexRIP and Plato software. FTS, formed in 2000, operates a variety of educational programs and services for a number of flexo label, folding carton, and film printing converter companies at their commissioned training facility.
