Bobst Group, Gallus plan major exhibits at PRINT®, Converting 05

Staff -- Converting Magazine, 7/1/2005

Converting-machinery maker Bobst Group and narrow-web label press manufacturer Gallus plan significant exhibits at this fall's PRINT® 05 & Converting 05 trade show to be held Sept. 9–15 at Chicago's McCormick Place.

Bobst's 60 × 100-ft booth places it among the 15 largest displays. Chris Raney, vice president, Bobst Folding Carton division, says the company's commitment to the show was partly determined by the prominence of working equipment in live demonstrations at Print® 05. Bobst's display will include the SPeria 106-E diecutter, SPeria 102 Foilmaster, Mistral 110 A-2 CS folder/gluer, Amazon 105 A-1 folder/gluer and an Apollo 1450 CTS.

Gallus has never participated in a PRINT event before but made the decision to exhibit this year based on the potential to expand its market share through the Converting 05 event, says organizer Graphic Arts Show Co. "We weighed our participation against other events that have served our market in the past, and felt this was the best way to put our best foot forward in opening new markets for our products," says Jonathan C. Guy, president of Gallus.

About 70,000 people are expected to take part in PRINT® 05 & Converting 05. More info: www.gasc.org
