The 10 largest packaging materials and containers companies in the world have maintained a five-year average growth rate of 6.6 percent, says a report by Minneapolis-based mergers and acquisitions firm Piper Jaffray. That exceeds the overall packaging-industry growth rate of about 4 percent. Many of the Top 10 companies have been active acquirers in recent years.
