North Kingstown, RI-based substrate provider Toray Plastics (America), Inc., is named the 2004 "Supplier of the Year" by Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. Toray Plastics (America) works with Frito-Lay to develop snack and convenience-food packaging using custom barrier films such as clear, opaque and metallized oriented polypropylene.
