Martinsville, VA-based converter CPFilms completes installation and startup March 1 of its new Applied Films (Longmont, CO) state-of-the-art metallizing production line at its headquarters plant. "Adding this new metallizing line will help us continue to grow and enhance our solar-control window films business, as well as meet the emerging needs of the precision coated-films segment," says Keith Dalton, vice president of Coating & Laminating and Vacuum Coating for CPFilms. The new Applied Films line is housed in a 9,000-sq-ft addition to the Martinsville plant.
