The Web Guidance System 4000 eliminates the need to manually adjust web guides during makeready. It automatically calculates the web width and moves the web in the desired location. An operator control station (OCS) displays the carriage displacement and movements made. The OCS reduces the number of control stations needed on the press by allowing control of up to 10 web guides from a single OCS. It is equipped with an electromechanical offset pivot guide.
