Laser-based sensor used for web operation

The SE-34 Lazer WideT Sensor is said to be the first laser-based sensor for web operation. With no moving parts, this sensor replaces moving web sensor guide assemblies. It is capable of operating on web widths from 1/16 up 200 in. The Lazer Wide was designed with a continuous proportional band of up to 73 in. wide. This sensor can be used to guide running webs from the center or either edge.
