Five- and seven-layer dies

The new Tube 2000 biaxial-oriented film line produces medium- and high-barrier tubular films from a variety of resins, including LDPE, LLDPE, EVA and EVOH. A broad spectrum of film structures to meet the needs of package contents and consumer demands are possible with the system's range of five- and seven-layers coextrusion dies. Film thicknesses from 1 to 2.5 mil and layflat widths from 2 to 20 in. can be achieved. Film conditioning components include bubble slitting and web handling, IR dryer, collapsing frame, and rewinder with automatic roll changeover.
