FeatherlightT carbon fiber composite idlers are one-third the weight of comparable standard aluminum idlers, but with 120 percent higher load-bearing capacity, the company says. The high strength, low weight capacity idlers can run wider, lightweight webs at higher speeds with maximum tension control. The roll shell is constructed of 1/8-in.thick carbon fiber composite tubing. Additional thickness is optional.
