The new Duplex Rewind machine comes equipped with PerfectStartT splicing technology, which provides fold-free transfers to new cores. With no tail fold back, this unit eliminates scrap otherwise caused by a wound-in tail. The rolls and winding drum are driven to provide center-surface windup. Speeds on Duplex Rewind with PerfectStart range up to 2,000 fpm, web widths to 130 in. and roll diameters to 48 in.
