The MR Series multiple-spindle turret rewinder is available with three and five spindle configurations. It is capable of cutting and transferring at zero speed. Integrated festoon allows for transfer at full line speed. Other features include 3-in. pneumatic spindles, rugged plate-steel construction and automatic inflation/deflation of spindles. The MR Series web width is available in 16, 20 and 24 in. with a splice speed of 1,000 fpm and a rewound roll dia. of 16 and 24 in. Options include automatic core gluing, automatic web gluing, automatic core loading, finished roll eject assist, shear cut slitting and web turning for reverse winding of narrow webs.
