The new Model 785 is a primary slitter that can be designed to meet specific needs. A shaftless unwind stand loads 1600mm-wide rolls weighing up to 1200kg from floor level. A built-in splice table enables reel changes to be made with minimum downtime. A sensor is designed to move the web up to 50mm either way to maintain alignment during unwind edge alignment. Both score and shear slitting and knife setting with digital readouts allows slit widths to be changed with ease.
