The S-100 slitting station can slit for label webs up to 6 in. wide. The new CAT-2-CHUCK rewinder pulls the labels through the cutting blades of the S-100 slitter as they feed off the UCAT-1 label unwinder. aIt is capable of slitting at speeds up to 30 in/sec. With the ability to run continuous-duty volume label production, the S-100 uses the co.'s constant adjustable torque (CAT) technology. Rolls can be mounted or removed from the "Quick-Chuck" in seconds. A continuously variable torque control knob sets the rewind force.
