Alathonr XL3805 is a lower density, bi-modal high molecular weight polyethylene (HMW-PE) resin. It has a density of 0.938 g/cc and a melt index of 0.05 g/10 min. With this material, the tear and dart drop properties have been said to dramatically increase, compared to traditional 0.950 density HMW-HDPE film resins.
