For thick sheet web presses

The contact caliper sensor, designed for thick sheet web processes, continuously scans and measures the actual thickness of extruded or calendered plastic sheet, rigid foamed sheet, flooring vinyl, vinyl siding, rubber, paper, paperboard, nonwovens and wood products. The sensor consists of a hardened stainless steel reference sensor head that rides below the web, and an aluminum oxide coated sensor head that contacts the top surface of the measured material.
