Terry Fulwiler is named TLMI 2000 Converter of the Year at the special joint TLMI-FINAT meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., Oct. 16. Fulwiler, chairman of W/S Packaging Group, was recognized for his role in growing Wisconsin Label Group from sales of less than $5 million in 1986 to more than $97 million last year.

W/S Packaging is a new label-converting company formed from the Sept. 28 merger of Wisconsin Label Group, Algoma, Wis., and Superior Label Systems, Mason, Ohio. WLG and SLS are both makers of p-s labels, and WLG also does creative packaging and commercial printing.

W/S Packaging Group now has 15 converting plants and more than 60 sales offices throughout North America with over 1,100 employees. The company predicts 2000 annual sales to be in excess of $150 million.

"This award really reflects the efforts of the entire team at Wisconsin Label," Fulwiler says. "We really do have a tremendous group of people who have shared in the responsibility for our success and who should now share in this recognition as well."
