Customer orders for rollers with tapered ends, convex cosine crowns, concave cosine crowns, and multiple crowns, and step and plunge crowns can be preprogrammed with this system. Repeat orders are pulled from the computer's memory when more rolls are requested. A selection of standard groove patterns are offered, such as threading, chevron, ruling, right hand groove, spreader roll, and diamond configurations.
