Control equipment

For ultraviolet lamps

The ELC line of electronic control equipment ensures consistent performance from UV lamps even if the network voltage varies by 10 percent. It reduces lamp-energy output when the UV system is in standby mode by 20 to 30 percent. Control over the output helps when printing heat-sensitive substrates, co. says. By starting with a low-UV output, printers can avoid excessive heat on the substrate even at low speeds.
