The ELC line of electronic control equipment ensures consistent performance from UV lamps even if the network voltage varies by 10 percent. Eliminates shaft couplings

The O-Frame scanner uses a fixed beta gauge for non-contact measurement of multilayer film. It is effective with all barrier resins, regardless of film temperature, co. says. The scanner mounts between the oscillating haul-off and secondary nip, measuring the collapsed layflat and transmitting the data after a 90-deg rotation. Zero backbend for prepreg

This 72-in.-wide slitter with duplex rewind for prepreg material, a composite material made from resin-impregnated fiber, has zero backbend throughout the slitting process. The duplex rewind houses two rewind shafts for 3- to 12-in. ID cores, which are double supported in safety chucks. Two sets of 8-in. diameter entry and exit pull rolls with "draw" control positioned before and after the slitting section are the main speed reference for the system.
