Reed Elsevier, parent company of Reed Business Information-US (RBI-US) and publisher of Converting Magazine, has donated $100,000 to the South Asia tsunami relief efforts. These funds have been earmarked for UNICEF, The Red Cross and Save the Children organizations to provide assistance to victims of the tsunami disaster. Along with this, RBI-US has pledged an additional $10,000 to the Save the Children Asian Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Fund, which is committed to supporting initiatives dedicated to children's protection from exploitation and their physical and emotional recovery.
