Detroit prepress house taps into KPG monitor proofing

Staff -- Converting Magazine, 1/1/2005

After a rigorous color testing and approval process, Detroit-based prepress house Brophy installs a new Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) Matchprint Virtual Proofing System. The KPG monitor-proofing solution enables the engraver's customers to benefit from streamlined production cycles and increased collaboration throughout the proofing process, says president Howard Brophy (above). The company has served the packaging, food, advertising and automotive industries for 65 years. It offers graphic design, 3-D modeling, digital prepress and printing services. The Matchprint Virtual Proofing System allows online viewing of the many rounds of proofing that occur before a file receives approval for print.
