Converting Magazine has been named an official media partner for the new uv.eb WEST 2005 conference organized by RadTech Intl. North America. The event will be held Feb. 10–11, 2005, at the Renaissance Hotel LAX in Los Angeles.

Designed for manufacturers interested in reducing VOCs and hazardous emissions, as well as those wanting to learn more about the fast-growing ink, coating, adhesive and composite curing technology, uv.eb WEST 2005 features two days of workshops and a tabletop exhibition.

Converting is the official partner for the event's Packaging and Printing Section, which offers a workshop on "UV/EB for Flexible Packaging, Label/Narrow Web & Commercial Printing" from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Feb. 11; and a workshop on "UV Digital Printing" from 2:00–4:00 p.m. the same day. Registration fees are $350 for RadTech members; $450 for nonmembers.
