Staff -- Converting Magazine, 5/1/2004

Clemson University's Graphic Communication Department, Clemson, SC, selects Dale and Katy Patterson of anilox-roll cleaning supplier Absolutely Micro Clean International, as its "Top Cat Award" winners for 2004. Selected by the faculty, the "Top Cat Award," named for the university's Tiger mascot, is presented to people and companies who have contributed significant time, effort, support, knowledge and encouragement to the Clemson Graphic Communication program, faculty and students.

The Asheville, NC-based Career Education Ctr. took home top honors March 19 after winning the 7th annual Phoenix Challenge High School Flexographic Skills Competition. The winning students, Stephen Schoff and Aaron Grasty, received the prestigious Harper Flexo Cup, as well as a $1,000 scholarship each at the Phoenix Challenge Awards Banquet held at the Wyndham Garden Suites, Charlotte, NC. Brooks Michael, instructor at Career Education Center, also received the Diann Teague Award.
