GLFA holds first press-side educational meeting
By Staff -- Converting Magazine, 4/1/2004
More than 90 converting and package-printing professionals attended the first press-side meeting of the Great Lakes Flexo Assn. (GLFA) held Feb. 26 at Paper Converting Machine Co., Green Bay, WI. Established almost two years ago, GLFA offers educational conferences for the Midwest flexo industry. The recent event at PCMC was more like a one-day seminar, covering the FTA's FIRST Standards. Attendees were able to talk to industry experts and view PCMC's latest gearless CI-flexo press that was running two print jobs at speeds of 2,000 fpm.
"The GLFA brings the flexo community together to discuss the industry and the changing demands of our customers," says GLFA vp Dan Dietrich. "We're encouraging our supplier and converter members to give us new topics that they want to learn about concerning their businesses." More info: www.greatlakesflexo.com
