This co. provides high capacity magnetic particle brakes and clutches with up to 300 lb/ft torque. These brakes and clutches are said to be ideal for tensioning, torque limiting, load simulation, and soft starts and stops. Slip torque is precise, smooth, and silent, says manufacturer. The torque is proportional to D.C. input current and independent of slip rpm.
