City of Industry, CA-based carton and label converter K-1 Packaging Group installs a new Rapida 105 sheetfed-offset press. The 41-in., 6-color system is supplied by KBA North America, Williston, VT. "This is our first KBA Rapida press, and we're quite happy with its quality and performance," says Mike Tsai, production manager of K-1 Packaging. (above). "We needed to replace an older 6-color sheetfed press and add a new automated press for capacity." K-1 Packaging's Rapida 105 features KBA's new Logotronic system, which uploads prepress data into the press, saving time and increasing throughput.
