Staff -- Converting Magazine, 12/1/2003

Paper-converting machinery maker Koerber PaperLink is putting down permanent roots in the Russian market with the opening of KPL Russia, the company's accredited representation in the Russian Federation under the direction of E.C.H. Will, a company within the Koerber PaperLink Group. With the new office, located in central Moscow, Koerber PaperLink will be the only supplier of converting equipment to the paper, tissue, absorbent hygiene, converting and printing markets to have a dedicated operation serving all Russian-speaking markets.

Film-labelstock production has begun at Raflatac, Inc.'s state-of-the-art facility in Fletcher, NC. As p-s film consumption steadily increases in the North American market, currently estimated to be growing at twice the rate of p-s paper, Raflatac builds upon the company's two-year local manufacturing expertise by introducing a range of p-s films that ensure label converters are meeting heightened global standards.
