Italian pressmaker OMET S.r.l. celebrated its 40th year in business last month with the official dedication of a new technology center adjacent to its headquarters' manufacturing site in Lecco, Italy. The 6,500-sq-ft permanent showroom will allow customers worldwide to see demonstrations of the company's narrow-web printing lines. A two-day open house offered upwards of 120 visitors a look at OMET systems for label printing, plastic-film and folding-carton production on Nov. 6; and paper-napkin converting on Nov. 7.
