Executive Outlook offers Survival Kit at Converting Expo
Staff -- Converting Magazine, 7/1/2003
Selecting the best technology to satisfy changing demands of customers in highly competitive markets while achieving profitability in tough economic times is the focus of Executive Outlook 2003, the pre-Graph Expo and Converting Expo conference.
Organized by Reston, VA-based Graphic Arts Show Co., Executive Outlook will be held at Chicago's McCormick Place on Sept. 27, the day before the fall trade shows open for their four-day run. William C. Lamparter, president of PrintCom Consulting Group, will chair the all-day conference, now in its eighth year.
Outlook is structured to provide printers with information that will help them evaluate how new products and technologies can be blended with the old to create opportunities even when business conditions are difficult.
"Profiting With the Right Technology—Struggling Without It—A Print Manager's Survival Kit" was selected as the theme to emphasize that profitable survival is highly dependent upon the proper use of technologies to print and convert the products demanded by buyers.
"Executive Outlook is a technology-information smorgasbord that will help printers assess the equipment, software and materials that will be exhibited at Graph Expo and Converting Expo," Lamparter says.
"Although the focus of the Conference will be on the practical application of technology, the full spectrum of industry issues and opportunities will be explored."
