The FilmMaster™ rewind incorporates PerfectStart™ splicing technology for fold-free transfers to new cores. Proper winding is insured during roll formation by driving the roll both through the core and at the surface, utilizing a surface drum. Contact between roll and winding drum is maintained throughout transfer to a new core to reduce or eliminate outer-wrap scrap on the completed roll.
