CMM Intl. 2003 to offer FTA label, narrow web pavilion
By Staff -- Converting Magazine, 10/1/2002
New York-based CMM Events and FTA (Flexographic Technical Assn.) join forces Sept. 13 to provide narrow web and tag and label machinery and materials suppliers with a new Narrow Web Pavilion at CMM Intl. 2003 next April 14-17 in Chicago. Consisting of 10 x 10 ft booths, the pavilion is intended to serve as a "one-stop-shopping" oasis within the show where buyers can experience all that's new in the narrow-web and tag and label marketplace.
"The new FTA Pavilion will provide narrow-web suppliers [who are FTA members] with a cost-effective opportunity to participate in CMM and reach buyers they won't see at any other trade show," says Leo Nadolske, vp of CMM Events. FTA members will also receive complimentary entrance to the exhibits and discounts on select conference sessions. A long-time supporter of CMM, FTA will conduct educational sessions as part of the comprehensive conference program.
"We're delighted to provide our members with a cost-effective method of participating in the leading industry event," says Mark Cisternino, FTA president. "We believe this will bring back to the show some of the companies that used to participate in CMM and introduce CMM's benefits to suppliers who've not participated."
