IADD sets dates for Diecutting Odyssey
Staff -- Converting Magazine, 7/1/2002
The next Diecutting Odyssey, organized by the Intl. Assn. of Diecutting & Diemaking, Crystal Lake, IL, will be held May 14-16, 2003, at the Stephens Convention Ctr. in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago.
The three-day event is an unusual combination of tradeshow exhibits, conference sessions and hands-on, interactive workshops. Attendees will find themselves inside fully operational diecutting and diemaking TechShops, able to watch live clinics and demonstrations using the latest high-tech equipment. Audio and video enhancement of the presentations on overhead TV screens brings viewers a closer understanding of the topics offered.
Converting solutions for paperboard, corrugated, plastics, natural materials, composite materials, paper, film and foil will be presented. Topics to be covered include flatbed, multi-contour and rotary diecutting.
