Stand-up pouch machine has touchscreen controls

The 3200 Series Modular Stand-up pouch machine converts laminates and supported, co-extruded films into fin-sealed pouches, in either flat or stand-up construction, in sizes up to 24 in. wide by 32 in. long. Pouches can be wicketed for either top or bottom fill applications. An AC servo-driven, tool drive provides for the proper control of sealing and dwell time, independent of web speed. Touchscreen features include digital selection of most machine setup parameters, repeat job setups can be recalled through the job storage function, and screens can be printed out or saved onto a disc for offline storage.

The Model 4180 is designed to produce a wide variety of bags, stacked or on a roll, either in-line with a blown-film system or out of line as a stand-alone bag producer. The system features an advanced digital electronic control system and a closed-loop AC flux vector main drive. It is available in sizes from 30 to 100 in. wide, has a maximum speed of 350 fpm and is said to handle single or multiple film webs up to 12-mil thick or 6-mil gusseted. The minimum bag repeat length is 10 in., and the maximum length is infinite, with no skip cycles required.
