Staff -- Converting Magazine, 3/1/2002
"I've got all the confidence in the world in Dusenbery," says Ronny Smith, (above left) managing director of thermal-transfer ribbon converter Kolok Africa, as he awaits delivery of a fourth slitter/rewinder from the Randolph, N.J., supplier. "We have three of their machines working flat out now, and demand is still expanding." The new machine, a 636TTR Series, will add up to 21.5 million sq ft to Johannesburg, South Africa-based Kolok's annual converting capacity. The system features integrated drive, improved razor slitting and speeds of up to 1,650 fpm.
